Privacy policy

At Motos Go we respect your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, the specific purpose of each, who we share it with, and how you can exercise your rights, under Law No. 19,628 on the Protection of Private Life, currently in force in Chile.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Motos Go, based in La Serena, Chile, is responsible for processing the personal data we collect through this site. You can reach us at info@motosgo.cl for any question about this policy.

2. What data we collect and what we use it for

3. Legal basis for processing

We process your data because it's necessary to manage the contractual relationship created by a booking request (performing a contract or pre-contractual steps at your request), because you give us your consent by submitting the contact form, or based on a legitimate interest in protecting the site from spam and abuse (Turnstile's antispam verification).

4. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing purposes. We do share it with the following processors, who provide technical services necessary to operate the site: Resend (notification email delivery) and Cloudflare (antispam verification via Turnstile and site hosting).

5. International transfers

Resend and Cloudflare are providers with infrastructure outside Chile, so your data may be processed on servers abroad. By submitting a form on this site, you give your informed consent to that transfer, which is also subject to each provider's contractual safeguards.

6. Retention period

We keep your data for as long as we have a relationship with you (for example, while your booking is active) and afterward for as long as needed to meet legal, tax, or accounting obligations. You can request earlier deletion of your data by writing to us, subject to those obligations.

7. Cookies

This site uses strictly necessary cookies for the booking and contact forms to work. See the full details in our Cookie policy.

8. Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, or objection to the processing of your data (ARCO rights) by writing to info@motosgo.cl. Starting December 1, 2026, when Law No. 21,719 takes effect, these rights expand to ARCOP rights, adding the right to data portability.

9. Supervisory authority

Today, under Law No. 19,628, Chile does not have a dedicated data protection agency. Starting December 1, 2026, the Personal Data Protection Agency, created by Law No. 21,719, will begin operating. You'll also be able to file complaints with it regarding the processing of your data.

10. Changes to this policy

We'll update this policy as the site evolves and, in particular, when Law No. 21,719 takes effect in December 2026. The date of the last update appears at the bottom of this page.
